Soft, warm and impossible to lose. Butter Yellow is a pale buttery yellow rather than a hard tennis-ball yellow, which is the difference between a colour you choose and a colour that chooses you. One of the two shallowest runs we make.

Butter Yellow Overview

Yellow is the most visible colour in the range at distance, and the most likely to go wrong. Hard yellows read as high-visibility workwear. This one is softened and warmed toward butter, which keeps it in the territory of a design choice rather than a safety vest.

Against a blue court surface it is the strongest contrast available after Sunset Orange, so it does the finding-your-bag job about as well as anything we make.

Like Snow White, it is a pale colour and it will show a mark sooner than the dark end of the range. The moulded shell addresses the creasing and corner wear rather than the colour itself, which is the honest version of what construction can and cannot do for a pale bag.

FAQ

Butter Yellow questions

Three things worth knowing about this colour before you buy it. Everything about the bag itself sits on the bags page.

No. It is deliberately softened and warmed, closer to butter than to a tennis ball. It is still highly visible at distance, but it reads as a chosen colour rather than as high-visibility gear.

Sunset Orange first, then Butter Yellow, then Electric Blue. All three are a long way ahead of the dark end of the range, and Pitch Black is the only one that will not help you at all.

It is one of the two shallowest runs we make, 50 units alongside Snow White, against 200 of Forest Green. Colours run in batches, so a colour that sells out can be away for a season rather than gone for good.

The NomadX Hardshell Padel Backpack is built around a single padel racket. The shell is moulded compressed EVA rather than padded fabric, so it holds its outline whether the bag is empty or full, and a flat panel of colour reads as one clean block instead of creases and shadow. Inside it carries one racket in its own compartment, balls, a bottle and the small things you actually take to a match, with a lined pocket for your phone, keys and cards. There is no shoe compartment. It is a day bag rather than a kit bag you half fill. Ten colours, all the same bag at the same price. Designed in South Africa, made in China.

The images on this page are digital representations produced from photography of the physical bag. The colour may vary slightly from the product you receive. If the colour is not what you expected, you have seven days from delivery to send it back for a full refund.
