Session recording
We use Microsoft Clarity to record how visitors move through the site: pages viewed, mouse movement, clicks and scrolling. This helps us find pages that confuse people or do not work properly.
Information you type is masked before it leaves your browser, so we do not see what you enter in the checkout. We do not use these recordings to identify you.
Who we share it with
Only with the parties we need to in order to fulfil your order:
- Payfast, to process your payment
- Placeholder, still to be confirmed: CONFIRM: The Courier Guy, to deliver your parcel
- Placeholder, still to be confirmed: CONFIRM: transactional email provider, once selected, to send order and marketing emails
- Mobicred, only if you choose to pay using it
- Our hosting and database providers, who store the data securely on our behalf
- SARS or other authorities, where the law requires it
- Meta, for advertising measurement
- Microsoft Clarity, for session recordings that help us improve the site
We do not sell your personal information to anybody, ever.
Where it is stored
Some of our service providers store data outside South Africa. Where that happens we use providers who apply protections at least equivalent to POPIA.
How long we keep it
Order and transaction records are kept for at least seven years, to meet our record-keeping obligations under the Companies Act and tax law. Marketing subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe.
Your rights
You may ask us to confirm what personal information we hold about you, to correct or delete it, or to object to processing. Email info@nomadxsport.com and we will respond within a reasonable time.
You may also complain to the Information Regulator.

Marketing emails
We only send marketing email to people who asked for it. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing takes effect immediately.
Order confirmations and delivery notifications are not marketing and will still be sent.
Advertising
When you buy from us or browse the store, we may share a scrambled version of your email address or phone number with Meta so it can tell whether someone who saw our advert went on to buy. The scrambling is one-way and happens in your browser, so Meta never receives your actual details and cannot read them.
We do this to measure whether our advertising is working. You can object at any time by emailing us.
Cookies
We use cookies to keep your basket working, and analytics cookies to understand site usage. You can block cookies in your browser, but the basket will not work properly without the essential ones.
The analytics and advertising tools we use are Google Analytics, Meta and Microsoft Clarity. They tell us how people find the site and which pages they use, and they may set their own cookies.
Changes
We may update this notice. The version published here is the current one.
