A true red. Warm rather than orange, clean rather than maroon, and the colour most people actually picture when they say red. It is one of the two colours we made most of, so it is the least likely to sell out early.

Cherry Red Overview

Most sports reds drift. They go rusty under warm light or pink through a phone camera, and the bag you bought is not quite the bag in the photograph. Cherry Red sits in the middle of the red family on purpose, which is the harder place to land and the reason it still reads as red in daylight, under floodlight and on a screen.

On a moulded shell it behaves particularly well. The surface catches light in broad flat panels rather than in the creases a soft bag folds into, so from across a court it reads as a single strong block of colour. That is the whole point of buying a red bag rather than a dark one, and a soft red bag loses it within a season.

It is the most universally worn of the bold colours in the range. Red is not read as a men's or a women's colour in sport, which makes it the one most often bought as a gift when the buyer is not certain.

FAQ

Cherry Red questions

Three things worth knowing about this colour before you buy it. Everything about the bag itself sits on the bags page.

Neither. It is a true red, warm rather than orange, and clean rather than maroon or wine. If you want the darker, more formal end of red, Deep Burgundy is the one you want. If you want something closer to orange, Sunset Orange is a long way clear of this.

We do not publish a fade figure and will not claim one without a written test from the factory. What we can say is that the shell is moulded rather than fabric-stretched, so it does not go soft and scuffed at the corners in the way a soft bag does, which is usually what makes a colour look tired before the colour itself has moved.

It is the one we would pick if you are buying for someone else and not certain. Red is not read as a men's or a women's colour in sport, it is a true red rather than an unusual shade, and it is one of the two deepest runs so it is unlikely to be out of stock.

The NomadX Hardshell Padel Backpack is built around a single padel racket. The shell is moulded compressed EVA rather than padded fabric, so it holds its outline whether the bag is empty or full, and a flat panel of colour reads as one clean block instead of creases and shadow. Inside it carries one racket in its own compartment, balls, a bottle and the small things you actually take to a match, with a lined pocket for your phone, keys and cards. There is no shoe compartment. It is a day bag rather than a kit bag you half fill. Ten colours, all the same bag at the same price. Designed in South Africa, made in China.

The images on this page are digital representations produced from photography of the physical bag. The colour may vary slightly from the product you receive. If the colour is not what you expected, you have seven days from delivery to send it back for a full refund.
