Electric Blue padel backpack

Pre-order price

The brightest blue in the range and the fastest to find on a full rack. It sits well clear of navy, which matters, because navy at ten metres is indistinguishable from black and navy is where most padel bags end up.

Electric Blue Overview

This is a saturated mid blue that stays blue. In shade, under floodlight, and through a phone camera it holds its hue instead of collapsing toward navy, which is the failure every dark blue bag eventually has. If the job you want a coloured bag to do is to be findable in four seconds rather than forty, this is the colour that does it best.

It is also one of only two cool-toned colours in the range. Everything else that reads as bright sits in the pink, orange or red family, so for anyone who wants colour without warmth, the real choice is this or Snow White.

A note on photography. Electric Blue is the one colour that disappears against our own dark navy backgrounds, which is why you will not see it used on the darker parts of this site. On a court, against glass and green surface, it does the opposite.

FAQ

Electric Blue questions

Three things worth knowing about this colour before you buy it. Everything about the bag itself sits on the bags page.

No, and deliberately not. Navy is what most padel bags already are, and at any distance navy reads as black. This is a saturated mid blue several steps brighter, chosen because it stays clearly blue rather than going dark.

Sunset Orange, by a small margin, because warm colours carry further against a green court surface. Electric Blue is the better choice if you want that findability without the bag being the loudest thing in the room.

Better than most. The colours that disappoint in photographs are the dark blues, which go black, and the pale pastels, which wash out. This is a saturated mid blue and it holds its hue on a phone camera.

The NomadX Hardshell Padel Backpack is built around a single padel racket. The shell is moulded compressed EVA rather than padded fabric, so it holds its outline whether the bag is empty or full, and a flat panel of colour reads as one clean block instead of creases and shadow. Inside it carries one racket in its own compartment, balls, a bottle and the small things you actually take to a match, with a lined pocket for your phone, keys and cards. There is no shoe compartment. It is a day bag rather than a kit bag you half fill. Ten colours, all the same bag at the same price. Designed in South Africa, made in China.

The images on this page are digital representations produced from photography of the physical bag. The colour may vary slightly from the product you receive. If the colour is not what you expected, you have seven days from delivery to send it back for a full refund.
