Padel Racket Protectors

A NomadX padel racket protector is a 40cm self-adhesive strip that wraps the top of your racket head, taking the knocks from the glass, the floor and your partner's racket. Two shapes, four finishes and 19 colours, all R185.

Toothed

A row of teeth runs along both sides of the strip and folds over onto the faces of the frame. It covers the rim and the outer edge of each face, where most scuffs land. Choose it for the widest coverage on a racket you play hard.

A narrower strip with a smooth, rounded edge that wraps the rim only. It sits close to the frame for a clean, low-profile line and is the quickest shape to fit. Choose it for everyday protection that keeps your racket looking close to factory.

A sparkling fleck that catches the light every time your racket turns. Ten colours, from Baby Pink to Black, to make your racket unmistakably yours.

Cat Eye protector finish

Cat Eye

A pearlescent depth that shifts as the racket moves. Red, Blue and White, each with a subtle glow that looks especially good on a dark frame.

Carbon Fibre protector finish

Carbon Fibre

A woven carbon pattern that picks up the material of the frame itself. Red, Blue, Gold, Silver and Black, for a technical finish that looks factory-fitted.

If you play off the glass, yes. It takes the knocks and scrapes that would otherwise land on your frame, from the glass, the floor and your partner's racket. Keeping the frame protected keeps your racket looking and playing like new for longer.

Flexible PU and TPU film with a self-adhesive backing.

Toothed is 65mm wide and Round Edge Only is 38mm wide. Both are 40cm long and trim to length at the throat.

It does the same job. Padel protector tape is usually a narrow clear strip. Our Round Edge Only protector is a similar 38mm wide, while our Toothed protector is 65mm wide for more coverage. Both come in 19 colours, including a clear Transparent finish.

Yes. It is flexible and trims to length, so it fits round, teardrop and diamond heads.

No. It sits on the outside of the frame, away from the hitting surface, so the sweet spot and feel of the face are unchanged.

Clean the frame with rubbing alcohol and let it dry. Line the centre of the strip up with the top of the head, then peel the backing a little at a time and press it down, working outwards and checking it stays centred. If it drifts, lift the last section and lay it again. On the toothed shape, fold the teeth over once the strip is on. Leave it an hour before you play.

Replace it when it is worn through, lifting at a corner or no longer covering the contact area.

Yes. Clean the frame well first. The protector stops existing marks getting worse and keeps the frame covered from here on.
